The way it is now, when you have the author that keeps just one mod listing throughout the versions, when he updates, depending on your current sort method, his mod may be buried on page 32 now and you’d miss it if you didn’t go through every page to see what’s updated.Official subreddit for the console version! If there was a recently updated listing that included new mods, you’d maybe have to go through 5 pages a day to see what’s new since the last time you checked. The alternative way of doing it where you don’t unsubscribe to the mods you had in 1.0 and just keep them deactivated until they update doesn’t work well either because you also have the authors that release new versions as new mods and if you didn’t go through the big list again, you’d miss out there too. Which I think is a good thing too as they don’t want to have to maintain multiples.īut trying to go through finding the now comparable mods for 1.1 while they’re being updated means going through the mods list, that I think is about 50 pages now, to find ones you like to subscribe to again. Other authors want to keep just one mod through the versions and update that mod and update it so it will now work with the 1.1 tag. On early release of a new game version, those mod list pages if you sort by recently added will show what ones are new, and ones that mod authors decided to release a new update as a new mod with like 1.1 in the name. I wasn’t meaning the mod page itself, I was talking about the mod listing pages where it shows the typical 30 mods a page you can subscribe to. r/RimWorldStreams - For all of your videos and streams needs r/RimWorldTales - /u/srgrafo's Rimworld Comic Series r/RimworldSwap - Swap saves with other players r/ShitRimworldSays - /r/nocontext posts about /r/RimWorld r/RimworldArt - Posts about Rimworld Artwork (not fanart!) r/Rimreddit - Colonists playing only on a single planet r/RimWorldPorn - High Quality Images of Rimworld Colonies No discussing pirated versions of the game.
